Welcome to Yashalum. A society of 203 small indigenous communities in the region of Yajalón, Chiapas. A self-help association for indigenous Mayan peoples towards a better future.The main focus is on sponsorship programs, which currently grant monthly scholarships to more than 250 high school, high school and college students. His youth is eager to learn, so much that not all scholarship applications can be accepted.We look forward to your support of our efforts to continue building a strong community of self-sufficient Mayan people.

⋅We planted 2000 additional coffee plants !! In three years, this will triple our coffee production. Organic coffee requires knowledge about the use of soil, sun and water, the manager is specialized in this area, gained experience from childhood to his academic training in agronomy.Coffee is the only product that can certainly help us achieve self-sustainability. Our students use it as a vehicle, learn about the production of organic coffee.
